We are always in desperate need of foster homes. We would more than happy to expalin our foster program with any interested parties. We provide all supplies, you supply the time, patience and energy. Any foster dogs must be fostered in a home environment.
Who We Are
We are a non profit group dedicated to the education of the public regarding Australian Cattle Dogs aka Blue/Red Heelers also providing for rescue and adoption services for the breed. We do not take in alot of dogs each year and dogs are fostered in private homes with a fostering of one dog. We are a federally incorporated not-for-profit group. Every dog adopted from ACDRO is ALWAYS spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and heartworm tested in the season.
Adopting a friend
Our adoption process includes an application with references, meeting with the potential dog and you in your home. Upon adoption we require signing of our adoption agreement.Our goal is to match you the adopter to the ACD who is best suited to you and your lifestyle.
