Featured Pet

Bonnie is an adorable beagle puppy who is 20 weeks old. She is spayed, up to date on her shots and dewormed. She weighs about 20lbs. Bonnie is a very friendly girl who loves people, dogs and cats. Bonnie enjoys playing and cuddling. She loves dogs, cats and people.

She is still a pup and will require some further housetraining and obedience. It would be ideal if her adopter was home for part of the day to provide good consistency for her training. A safely fenced yard is preferred for beagles as they love to follow their noses and can very quickly roam off. They need to be walked on leash at all times unless the area is safely fenced. Beagles are sweet, affectionate dogs who love to cuddle. They are active dogs who love to go for walks and check out all the great smells in the neighbourhood. If you feel you could give Bonnie a safe and loving home please fill out our online application on our website - www.adoptadogsavealife.com.

FOSTER HOMES...FOSTER HOMES...FOSTER HOMES... We are in desperate need of volunteers and foster homes. If you think you can help us by providing a loving foster home or if you would like to volunteer by screening calls and/or transporting pets, please call us. Your gift of time is GREATLY appreciated. Adopt-a-Dog/Save-a-Life is a non-profit, volunteer organization. Your donations can help save lives. Every dollar counts. Thank you for your generosity.

*** WHO WE ARE ***

Every year, thousands of abandoned dogs die in pounds across Canada. People can't resist a cute puppy in the pet shop window... But when the puppy grows up, it becomes too much bother... And ends up on "Death Row" at the pound because the owner has grown tired of the novelty. Ontario pounds are only required to keep dogs 72 hours before killing them, or turning them over for live experimentation, so most abandoned dogs have little chance of survival. Adopt-a-Dog/Save-a-Life's mission is to find loving permanent homes for these dogs. Last year alone, Adopt-a-Dog saved 452 abandoned dogs from almost certain death.
