Donate a Kuranda cat or dog bed to one of our cats or dogs in the name of a friend or family member. A personalized Gift Card will be mailed to them to inform them of the wonderful gift you have selected for them. Puppies, too young to be fixed, are taken home on foster care, with the adoptive person/family, until they are fixed
CATS: Males: $120 Females: $140 (neutered/spayed by QHS) or $80 (came in altered)

KITTENS: $60 (incl 20% discount coupon for altering at local vet & $25 refund with proof of spay/neuter ) QHS Cats & Kittens also available at Petcetera, PetSmart and PetValu in Belleville.
**All cat and dog adoption donations include spay/neuter, first vaccination (booster if at shelter long enough,) deworming, flea treatment, six weeks' free pet insurance, microchip and more.

OTHER: depending on species etc
***All donations for adoption are at the discretion of shelter staff and are non-negotiable. Adoption contracts include a non-negotiable clause for mandatory altering (puppies by the vet of our choice.) Also, if for any reason you are unable to keep the pet it shall be returned to QHS.
The Quinte Humane Society is a non-profit organization which is operated and maintained through a small, dedicated staff, loyal and diligent volunteers and charitable donations.
Donations can be specifically made to assist in the spaying and neutering of animals at the shelter.

We need help with cleaning on weekends & holidays and dog walkers every day.
