Arbed Rescue is a charitable, non-profit organization based in Martintown, Ontario (1 hr S E of Ottawa and 1 hr W of Montreal) that offers canine adoption services.
We are in urgent need of financial support and supplies,in many cases the adoption fee does not cover the vet bills,as all our dogs receive what ever veterinary care is needed upon arrival, we have no government funding nor corporate sponsors therefore solely run by volunteers to help providing the basic services to help many companions that have been put in this unfortunate situation through no fault of their own.

We are always in need of food, dog dishes, collars, leashes, blankets, beds, pillows, toys.
Some of our vet costs have recently doubled! We need to build new housing, and fencing , in desperate need of firewood as well as a wheelchair ramp to help with some of our senior dogs and/or the ones' struggling with arthritis.
Costs are spiraling and we are struggling ... please help!

OUR MISSION:
Debra, the founder of Arbed Rescue was created to find loving and forever new homes for abused, neglected and abandoned animals. We lovingly provide high quality food (Orijen & Eagle Pack), lodging, vetting, grooming and transportation. All our dogs live in a cage-free beautiful environment with huge running space to run, play and socialize!
We take in dogs of all breeds and all ages. Our dogs come from puppy mills, home surrenders, pounds, kill shelters and strays.
We have a strict NO- KILL policy.
BEFORE COMPLETING THE ADOPTION APPLICATION, make sure that your family has seriously decided,to welcome a new member to your family, as there is alot of work and time to process each individual application,being full time volunteers.
We are also in urgent need of foster homes. Please open your home and heart and become a Foster Care Guardian by giving an animal a second chance on a new life! If anyone could also help our organization transport animals to and from Martintown, vetenarians and other shelters and/or take them for walks it would be most appreciated.
