150 huskies were found tied to various objects in the backwoods of Quebec last week. All emaciated and dehydrated from neglect these dogs seemed to have been sled dogs at one time who were just not cared for and in horrible condition. Several corpses were found on the property as the result of starvation or disease and were left in pits to decompose. The humane Society of Canada and the Humane Society of the United States are working together to try to find rescues for all of these huskies. We have committed so far to take 23 dogs in total including some expecting within the week. The outpour of support has been wonderful and we have several new foster homes to thank for helping to make this happen. We are still in dire need of food donations and blankets as well as any donations towards our inevitable vet costs. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to re-training and re-homing all breeds and ages of dogs. We are specialized in taking overflow from shelters to save dogs from unnessesary euthanasia. We take dogs from SPCAs and pounds across Canada and the U.S. We offer free behavioural assisstance for the life of your dog through our program and a low-cost obedience program designed to suit all families in different economical circumstances. We now again offer in- home boarding services and petsitting services with our volunteers.

Adopting a friend
To adopt a dog through our group just give us a call and talk to us about the dog you are interested in. All of our dogs are available for viewing at our home location 7 days a week! Adults are adopted for 300.00 and seniors over 6 are available for a donation only. Puppy adoption fees are 300.00 with a 50.00 rebate with proof of spay/neuter. All adults are spayed and neutered and all dogs are up to date with vaccines.
