When a pet is adopted and picked up, the animal will be automatically deleted from the website. New incoming four legged friends may take a few days for their picture and story to appear on the website, as updates are done by our volunteer, and she is not in the shelter every day. We have several wonderful cats, and loads of kittens available for adoption at our shelter. WE HOPE YOU CAN FIND THE PURRFECT PET (DOG OR CAT) TO GIVE A FOREVER HOME. Adopting a friend
You can adopt a cat for $172.80 incl. tax. This price includes spay or neuter, deworming, and vaccinations except rabies.
You can adopt a dog for $216.00 incl. tax. This price includes spay or neuter, deworming, and vaccinations except rabies.
Before adopting you must fill out a pre-adoption form with the name and phone number of your current vet, or if you will be a first time pet owner, 2 personal references. Once you have been approved, and spaying and/or neutering is either complete, you may take home your new companion to love.
We are now Microchipping all dogs and cats at our shelter before they are sent home with their new family. If you have any questions regarding this you can contact the shelter at 613-354-2492 or call 1-866-597-2424 or visit their website at www.24petwatch.com. When your pet is microchipped it will be registered with 24PetWatch. This enables us to help get your pet home, and is a permanent method of identifying your pet.
