4 Love of Canines, is a no-kill, all breed dog rescue and dog adoption agency that provides quality foster care to rescued and owner surrendered pets in the Hamilton and Greater Toronto areas and throughout Southern Ontario until they are matched with loving pre-screened adopters and placed into suitable, permanent new homes. We are a humane not for profit organization that is run by volunteers and is funded solely by your donations.

Adorable, tiny Chihuahua girl. This is a wonderful little dog that just needs the right home to care for her. Lily is a sweet little thing and would be best in a home with older children only because of her petite size.
Many other wonderful dogs are waiting to be rescued and are in need of loving foster homes in the Hamilton and surrounding areas.

Saving the life of a dog is a very rewarding experience and something that can be shared with the whole family. Giving the gift of love to a dog in need can be an excellent way to help children learn that giving of themselves is the most cherished gift of all. Who Is 4 Love of Canines? We are a dedicated group of fellow rescuers that have been saving
lives and providing quality foster care, rehabilitating and re-homing
stray and owner surrendered companion animals for over 25 years. Our mission is to cater to the best interests of canine companions
while maintaining the highest quality of service to both pet owners
and adopters. While our primary concern is for dogs, we do attempt to aid any

Our Adoption Application
We do not adopt on a first come, first served basis choosing instead to match each pet with the most suitable home to ensure that both the pet and the adoptive family have a positive and successful integration. All of the pets are in foster homes and are viewed by invitation only to approved adopters. Need A New HOME For Your Pet? Placement Information
Please note that owner surrendered pets are accepted as space permits and must be assessed prior to being placed in foster care. 4 Love of Canines reserves the right to refuse any pet it deems unadoptable. Donation Information We gratefully accept donations of any kind including cleaning supplies, old towels and sheets, dog supplies including food, gently used leashes and collars, and baby items such as gates, playpens and used toys.
We also accept monetary donations made directly to the rescue or in the form of payments made directly to our veterinarian to help cover medical costs.
