We are a non-profit rescue run by volunteers. We do it because we love dogs and we are passionate about finding new homes for unwanted and lost dogs. Our mission is to rescue all breeds regardless of their age and adoptability and to provide a safe haven where they are wanted, honored and loved. Our rescue will provide all medical, training, grooming and love until their forever homes are found.
All of the dogs that we rescue live in our homes not cages. Our organization rescues neglected and or abused dogs and dogs from death rows in shelters or dogs that are surrendered to us. We rehabilitate them to the best of our ability and then we place them in new, loving homes. We cover most of the areas in Durham region and the surrounding areas and sometimes further.
We are always in need of DONATIONS to help with our vet bills. We also need food, blankets, towels, shampoo and toys. If you wish to help please contact us. We will gladly come to you or you can donate by linking to PayPal below. All donation are greatly appreciated.
If you are aware of an abuse or neglect situation you can contact us for help. We will keep your involvement anonymous.
Adopting a dog is fun and a joy, but it's a responsibility too. Your intention of adopting a dog should be to provide the dog a home all of its life. The dog must be treated as a house pet and member of the family; it should not be chained, tied or confined to a pen, run, or other enclosure. It is your responsibility to ensure that the dog receives annual vaccines and any other veterinary attention that it requires. You must be prepared to deal with these financial obligations. Some of our rescues are first placed into foster homes so we can get to know them. Before we place them in a forever home a home visit is a prerequisite. This helps us to make a perfect match between the dog and its new guardian. Every dog is altered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.
We are in constant need of foster homes. If you are interested please contact us. We will supply all the food and any vet care needed. You supply exercise, discipline, shelter, socialization and affection.
