We have very little information on Triese at this point. The shelter has speculated him to be a beagle/Bernese Mountain Dog cross but he doesn't look strongly like any one breed so we're calling him a purebred mutt. Triese is very urgent and will be euthanized if he's not rescued or not adopted soon
If you're interested in adopting Triese, please go to www.barlees.org and fill out an adoption application form.

Who We Are
Barlee's Angels Rescue Network is a non-profit, all-volunteer all-breed rescue based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. We take in abandoned, abused, and neglected companion animals, attend to their veterinary needs including spay/neuter and any routine and special care required, rehabilitate them where necessary and place them in carefully screened homes. We rescue primarily dogs and cats and occasionally have rescued rabbits and rats available for adoption. We have a special interest in the Pit Bull Terrier and the Neapolitan Mastiff, and we are strong advocates for responsible Pit Bull ownership. We do NOT have a shelter facility but take animals in as we can house them in the homes of our dedicated foster volunteers. You can help save a life by opening your home to a rescued animal, as a foster or a forever home. Millions of wonderful dogs and cats die every year due to the simple fact that there are too many.
Please do the responsible thing and spay/neuter your animal before it brings more animals into this overpopulated world. It's the only way this crisis will ever end. It's not a few people breeding a million animals - it's many people breeding a few. Your few are a death sentence for animals already needing homes. Enjoy your companion animal for what he or she is, and spay/neuter before they contribute to the overpopulation crisis.
Barlee's Angels is currently in the process of obtaining charitable status. Once we've been successful, we will begin a building fund so that we can actually aquire a shelter facility and increase the number of animals we can rescue and rehome.
Adopting a friend
Please go to www.barlees.org for information regarding our adoption process. We screen homes carefully, match pets and owners to increase the likelihood of a successful, permanent match, and we assess all animals while in foster care so that the adoptive home knows all they can about the animal before taking them home. Please note that an adoption donation is required for most rescued animals to offset the substantial costs of rehoming animals. All dogs and cats are vetted, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, dewormed and microchipped before placement and any other medical needs are taken care of.
Come Visit Us!
We do not currently have a shelter facility - all animals are housed in the homes of our dedicated foster volunteers, without whom we could not do what we do. Animals are viewed by appointment after an initial phone interview. Please understand that we are all volunteers, and do our rescue work after work, school and our families - we are always overburdened and it may take several days for correspondence to be returned. Please use email only, phone calls by appointment.
