YOU ADOPT AN ABANDONED CAT?
Most
of our unwanted, stray and surrendered cats were rescued from euthanasia
at a shelter. They deserve a wonderful life in a forever home. If you
believe that pets are lifetime commitments and are prepared to give
a cat a safe and loving indoor home, PLEASE contact
us today. We want the best homes for our cats so they are never
abandoned again! Our cats live with foster families from Toronto to
Hamilton until their forever homes can be found. We have outgoing cats,
lap cats, shy cats, quiet cats, talkative cats, "only" cats, childproof
cats, playful cats, and dog-friendly cats... all we need is to meet
YOU! |
| WHO WE ARE Abandoned Cats is a small, completely independent rescue group that is 100% run by volunteers. Most of our cats have been rescued from an out-of-town Animal Control, typically the day before they would be euthanized. They are hand-picked based on temperament. Since thousands are euthanized each year we can't help them all, so we work with the ones that are most adoptable. Our cats are housed in volunteer foster homes. All adoption fees and donations go completely to assisting the cats in our care. Our cats are spayed or neutered, checked by a vet, and treated for medical needs as necessary. We never euthanize animals we can't find homes for. We simply wait until the right home comes up. INTERESTED
