Who We Are
The Warr Acres Animal Shelter is operated by the City of Warr Acres Animal Control Division and is staffed by the Warr Acres Animal Control Officer. Our city spans about 3.5 square miles and about 10,000 residents. We have a small shelter and cannot keep animals very long due to overcrowding for more than a few days.Adopting a new friend
Thanks for viewing our adoption listings. Please take the time to browse the listed pets and contact us if you have any questions. We list pets as fast as possible and may have to add photos later. We feature a fixed rate adoption fee of $45 that includes spay or neuter and rabies shot. If you are a resident of Warr Acres a city pet license is also required at $5.00.Come Visit Us!
We are open from 10 to 4 Monday through Friday. The Animal Control Officer is usually on patrol and not always at the shelter. Please call before coming to the shelter. 405-789-9025. Out of state adoptions are welcome, but someone must pick up the animal, we do not ship.Warr Acres Animal Shelter
