Pinto is a N/M Tabby/white DSH about one year old. He was one in a box of kittens found abandoned on the side of busy road. Pinto coulbe be described as a "special needs" cat as he does require eye medication, but other than that he is just perfect. He is waiting for he very own forever home. (ARF does not ship its' rescues! Potentail adopters must visit our facility in Bartlesville, OK to complete screening and approval.) ***JUNE IS ADOPT-A-SHELTER-CAT MONTH!!! To honor the occasion we've decided that cats are like potato chips!! Nobody can have just one!! We are offering a special on cat adoptions. Adopt a cat/kitten at our regular adoption rate of $60 and adopt a buddy for the cat/kitten at half off ($30)!!

Who We AreARF's mission is to provide care for abandoned and abused animals, promote adoption for those in need of responsible new homes, educate the public on animal issues, and promote the spay and neuter of pets as the only solution to overpopulation of unwanted pets.
We are a self-supporting non-profit organization that does not maintain a paid staff. We exist solely on donations and efforts of our amazing volunteers. ARF was started with two individuals rescuing and finding homes for animals. Soon others joined them and ARF evolved. We have successfully adopted out hundreds of ARF rescued animals and have placed hundreds more by networking with individuals and area rescue groups!
At our facility, our animals are not caged. The cats co-exist at Animal House. The dogs live in foster homes and are brought to Animal House to be shown on Saturdays or by appointment. ARF animals are never euthanized unless it is the only humane solution for the animal. They have a home with ARF until homes are found.
ARF's adoption process includes an approved Adoption Application, a 3-day waiting period, Adoption Agreement, Sterilization Agreement (if needed) and $60 adoption fee. Adoption fee covers current vaccinations up to time of adoption, rabies vaccination and spay or neuter when animal becomes of age. ALL ARF RESCUES ARE SPAYED OR NEUTERED PRIOR TO ADOPTION. THIS INCLUDES PUPPIES AND KITTENS!
