MEET SENTENZA. This sweet girl was found huddling in a carport in early December, hurt and unable to walk. A door to door search was conducted but no owner was found. When no kind soul stepped forward to claim her, she was taken to the local shelter. While she was treated kindly, the shelter just didn’t have the financial resources to help her. So for weeks she lay on a cold, concrete floor with a seemingly broken leg.
Christmas came and went without a miracle and the New Year looked grim. Several families asked about the dog with the soft ears and big, brown eyes but in the end none could afford to take on the vet bills of a giant breed dog. With hope running out a call was finally placed for FORM to come the rescue. Sentenza was pulled from the shelter mere days before she would have been put to sleep. Instead, after almost a year in Rescue, undergoing extensive surgeries to repair her leg, Sentenza's foster parents decided they could not part with her and adopted her! Happy Days!
Sentenza's surgeries have been extremely expensive. In order to help more Mastiffs that need expensive treatment, we need your help. If you can donate even $5.00, $10,00 or more, please go to our website at www.mastiffrescue.org, Click on the Donate button to donate through Paypal..OR

Friends of Rescued Mastiffs, INC (FORM) is a 501(c)3 Animal Welfare Organization. FORM t is a Nation-wide organizations who exist to place stray or abandoned Mastiffs in loving, adoptive homes that will provide for their care and well-being. We do not have a specific shelter location. This petfinder site covers Rescue Mastiffs available in the following states: AR, KS, LA, MO, NE, NM, ND, OK, SD, TX, .
Thank you for your interest in adopting a Mastiff through the Friends of Rescued Mastiffs (FORM). We request a donation of up to $500 depending on the age and condition of the dog. At all times, additional donations to our program are gratefully and gladly accepted and are tax deductible (see your tax accountant).
The Mastiffs that become available for adoption are Mastiffs that are referred to FORM if, for any reason, they become homeless. Usually they range from two to five years of age. These Mastiffs come from a variety of circumstances, including animal shelters.
When a Mastiff is released to FORM, it is taken to a veterinarian for a medical check and necessary vaccinations. The Mastiff’s temperament is evaluated and we attempt to locate any past history of the Mastiff. These Mastiffs are neutered or spayed before released to their new home.
Many times Mastiffs are just not readily available for adoption. This is good news for us because it means that this wonderful breed is being well-cared for. The bad news is your wait may be longer than you had hoped. Please be patient with our Rescue program.
Our Rescue program strives to bring together Mastiffs and families in the same geographical area in order to keep transportation costs to a minimum. However, if you are willing to pay for transportation to adopt from another area, you could find a Mastiff in your home sooner than you think. Driving home with a Rescue Mastiff is a great bonding experience for both you and the Mastiff.
We are looking for permanent, loving homes where the Mastiff will receive top quality care. These Mastiffs need a special place where they will be appreciated as a companion dog and part of the family. Please click on the following links to fill out an application form ):
But, a Mastiff is not the breed for everyone. Before you decide to acquire a Mastiff, we recommend that you acquaint your family with this noble breed. Please check the following websites for more information about mastiffs:
