This is "Bill" a 10 week old blue heeler that was rescued from a puppy mill.

S.O.A.R. recently rescued 9 adorable puppies from a puppy mill that are up for adoption. We also have three puppies in basic training class that are doing fantastic.
Who We Are
S.O.A.R. was founded about two years ago by Scott Sutherland and Kathy Germany. With a common goal to reduce the number of homeless pets in thier surrounding communities, they began to set up kennels in the backyard of Scott's home. Kennel by kennel they have grown to house 45 dogs and 10 cats. Some of these guys will live out the remainder of thier lives here on the ranch because of permanant dissablities or mental damage from thier past. But all of them live a happy and stress free life while they are here. A complex system of rotation ensures that each and every dog gets plenty of time out of the kennel. Then they can have a nap under a shade tree, wrestle with other dogs, take a dip in the pool, or play chase with squirrels. We hold and participate in monthly spay/neuter clinics to further reduce numbers.
Adopting a friend
Applicants are required to fill out a questionaire and application including three references. Within a week we will contact you for an in home interview. If the animal is not already spayed or neutered you will be required to make arrangements with us. Cost of adoption for a dog is $55 and a cat is $45.
