To improve the lives of our animal friends who have been Unwanted, Abused or Neglected, by finding loving and compassionate homes; creating families by building bonds between animals and people.
Our Featured Pet...
We prefer not to feature one pet over another. All of our babies deserve a forever home. So if you are looking for that special little companion, please look at all our pets and decide for yourself which one is right for you.
Great news, our 501c3 came in just 31 days after we mailed it in to the IRS. We know that now all the hard work begins. We are planning lots of fund raisers so that we can put in our own NO KILL facility. We want a facility that will allow the dogs to socialize with each other and with people. We don't want our animals to be caged up all day long with no exercise. As of right now all our dogs are placed in foster care, but we are taking in so many, that we are running out of foster homes. So the next step is to build a facility that will house our animals and a place where we can have classes for our therapy dog programs.
How We Got Started
A few years back Noelle Harris and Patti Cain met when they were volunteering at a Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic. They quickly formed a friendship because of their passion for animals. They started out just fostering a few dogs here and there, but it quickly grew into something much more. They saw the need for a NO KILL shelter and they started working towards that dream. With a lot of hard work they are on their way to fulfilling that dream.
If you decide to adopt one of our precious babies, we will have a contract for you to fill out. We do require fenced in yards and we NEVER allow anyone to chain or tie a dog out. Most of our dogs are house dogs, even some of the bigger ones. We also require that if for some reason the dog does not work out for you, it has to be returned to us. You will not be allowed to give the dog to anyone else or take it to a shelter. All dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and heartworm negative before being placed up for adoption. The only exception is for puppies to young for the procedure, you will be required to bring the dog back to our vet to have the animal spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. The adoption fees start at $100.00.
Come Visit Us!
As of right now we don't have a facility for you to visit, but we will have one soon. If you are interested in meeting any of our wonderful little babies, please call us and we will meet with you and let you spend some quality time with the animal you are considering taking into your home.
