I HAVE CEREBELLAR HYPOPLASIA
Hi! My name is Penguin! My foster mom labeled me as a boxer mix but since I came from a shelter and I don't know who my real mommy and daddy is, we really don't know what I am! I'm listed as a "special needs" baby, not because I need special attention, but because I have a very special and unique problem. You see, I was born with what is called Cerebellar Hypoplasia. I don't want to use a whole lot of space to write so maybe you can research it yourself on the box in front of you. But basically what it means is that my brain doesn't really work with my legs very well. They tend to go in different directions. I know, I know, everyone laughs at me and says "Oh your so cute!" I hear it ALL the time! Anyway, I eat, sleep, play, pee, and poop just like any other dog so I really don't need any special treatment, just the same training you would give any other puppy. I will be neutered on Feb. 20 and will be able to go to my new home then. So do your research and decide if you would like a wobbly clutsy dog for your new family member! Be ready though. My foster mommy is going to want to know what kind of home you are going to give me and probably a vet reference, too! Because I am sooooo special!

Yep, kid. I think it's your head allright. Smells pretty bad, too. Just like a dog.
We hold adoption events at the Petsmart in Moore, S. 19th and I-35. We try to meet twice a month. Our families/children are keeping us busy these days so please email for exact dates as we do not want to miss you! We have dogs and cats available from 11am-4pm on each of these days. Help us turn more broken wags into happy tails!

Our constant prayers are answered as we rescue one broken wag at a time and meet the beautiful families that will love our fur babies as much as we do. From the bottom of our hearts, litter pans, and scoopers....thank you for your support! If you are interested in any of our sweet babies feel free to call or email us.

Adopting a Cat

WE CURRENTLY HAVE A WIDE SELECTION OF DIFFERENT COLORS AND PERSONALITIES. GREAT CATS THAT NEED GREAT HOMES!

Wags to Whiskers is a small rescue so we strive to rescue the most loving and affectionate cats possible. Each rescued cat has had its initial vet work done. This includes spay/neuter, vacs, testing, deworming, and flea/tick treatment. The adoption fees are $60 to help cover the cost of medical/food.

Dogs

We are turning broken wags into happy tales! Check back with us often to see who has been rescued and looking for that forever home. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vacs, HWC, and dewormed. Adoption fees range from $75-$150 to help with cost of medical/food.

Because of the overpopulation problem where some humans still cannot understand the importance of spaying and neutering, we stay full on a regular basis. However, we will do our best to make arrangements to help animals that are in great need. We require a donation to help with medical and the dog/cat will need to be evaluated before we make any final decisions. If we are full, we will be more than happy to help with suggestions on how to rehome your pet.
