Our pet of the month is Sideways, a spayed female black lab mix. She is a very special dog, her bottom jaw is sideways, hince her name. She likes to be alpha female but would make a good pet. She is very loving and alert....;
We are a shelter that is committed on finding furever loving homes for our dogs at the shelter. We rescue dogs from the streets of Tishomingo and the ones that get turned over to us and put them up for adoption. We also work with several pet rescue groups in the area. We do allow our dogs to play in the outdoor area every day, so they can get exercise and some sun. We also have volunteers that come and walk our dogs. We are a no kill shelter.
We charge a $65 adoption fee which includes a spay/neuter, a parvo shot and a rabies shot and for our puppies it is $25.00 which includes our adoption fee and a parvo shot and we ask that you sign up for a spay/neuter clinic or go to your local vet. We do have a simple adoption contract to fill out and do ask if the animal is not working out that you bring the animal back to us. A dog can be a wonderful addition to your home and will always be there for you and love you no matter what.
