AS OF MAY 29, 2009, IF ANY DOG IS PICKED UP BY ANIMAL CONTROL WITH NO CITY LICENSE OR IDENTIFYING TAG THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.
The Town of Carnegie would like your help in finding our dogs loving homes! Unfortunately, not all animals will be featured in The Carnegie Herald.
We can only hold our dogs three business days for the owner & an additional four days for adoption.
We give our dogs a number because we find it unfair to give them a name their owner might not like & more than likely change. Be fair to our animals by giving them a place in your family!
Who We Are
The Town of Carnegie Municipal Animal Shelter & Animal Control Officers.
Adopting a friend
We require a copy of a rabies vaccination & a city license, purchased at Town Hall for a fee of $7.50. If you do not live in city limits we may require a fee of $5.00 per day boarding.
This is a small price to pay to give these animals a loving home!
The Town of Carnegie Animal Shelter is located at the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Please inquire about all dogs at The Carnegie Town Hall (580) 654-1004 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. & 5:00 p.m. or via e-mail by clicking the link below.
We require all animals within city limits to have a city license!
