The Nowata Animal Shelter needs towels and blankets to help keep the animals comfortable. We also need Bleach, Pinesol, collars and leashes. Pet Carriers are always needed. Any and all donations would be appreciated.
Who We Are
Nowata Animal Shelter is a small non-profit shelter located in Nowata, Oklahoma. The shelter is run by the City of Nowata/Police Department. We are always full as we are the only shelter for the entire Nowata County. Stray animals are held for 5 days to be reclaimed. We try to adopt out as many animals as possible but due to space we can not keep animals very long.

Medical treatment administered to the animals is - spay or neuter, shots and worming.

The shelter is located in Nowata and pets can be visited from 8 am until 4 pm, Monday thru Friday. Please call 918-273-7404 or 918-273-3531 for directions and to set up a time to see the animals. We do not ship animals. You must travel to Oklahoma to adopt a pet.
