We are a small bully breed rescue in a very small town in Northeast Ohio. We rescue dogs from Death Row at high intake , high kill pounds, abuse & neglect. We provide them with emergency vetting, regular vetting (altering, shots, heart-worm preventative, de-worming, and flea and tick medicines) food and a safe and healthy environment to decompress so they can soon begin their new life in a loving for ever home. Those that are deemed unsafe or medically un adoptable to the public stay here with us for life. We did not set out to have a sanctuary but we soon learned that those that others have hurt deserve love and to live as well as those that may be sick.
Why is it better to adopt a dog from a rescue?
Rescues can tell you about the dogs behaviors and needs as to where a dog bought off a breeder, craigslist or other sites often do not tell you what they need because all they care about it getting the dog gone. We believe that a dog deserves to have stability and we want to ensure the dog and the family that adopts them have that connection and they can meet each other's needs not just physically but mentally. We strive to put the right dog in the right home.
If things should arise out side of your control we do ALWAYS take our dogs back ,we make a lifetime commitment to them and we hope you feel the same way.
All dogs live with our family or in a fosters home, so we get to know their needs and personalities.
All dogs are fully vetted prior to being adopted .
WE ARE NOT A SHELTER WE ARE A RESCUE, WE DO NOT HAVE OPEN HOURS. ALL CONTACT WILL BE MADE VIA EMAIL, SO PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL OFTEN, PLEASE GIVE US A WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS TO REPLY BACK TO WITHOUT SPAM FILTERS & DO NOT SEND US A WEBSITE AT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING!!!
Our adoption fee doesn't cover the vetting that we have done to these dogs. Often rescued dogs come to you sick and injured. We ask a small chunk of what is put into them so we can save us the adoption fee to save another life.
We do not currently have open hours
Please don't ask for pedigree papers, none of our dogs come with pedigree papers. We are NOT breeders, we rescue these dogs from high kill pounds and spay & neuter them to help decrease the overpopulation of animals.
PLEASE ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!!
