Who We Are
Team Greyhound Adoption of Ohio, Inc. is a 501 C3 non-profit group that places retired racing greyhounds into adoption in most of Ohio and some parts of adjacent states. The racers that we place are trained in Ohio prisons for a minimum of two months prior to adoption. This training helps secure matches with the adoptive families through the racer's training in socialization, basic obedience, and house manners. In most instances, the racers are able to reside in foster homes after graduation from their training program, where they have an opportunity to be shown at meet-n-greets across Ohio.
