Baxter is 7 yrs old. He was born without a tail. His family had to turn him over to us when they had to move. He lived with them for 6 of his 7 yrs and you could tell that he loved them. When they lfeft him with me he went back and forth from the windows to the door he just could understand what was happening to him. He has since settled in nicely here at the rescue, however the loss of his family has only increased his seperation anxiety. He tends to bark when he knows that you are leaving him, he is not distructive in any way he just carries around his big care bear or his tiger for comfort. He does quiet down after just a few minutes. He will go out to potty alone but then he wants right back in to be with someone. He walks well on a leash and does know a couple of commands. He is current on his vaccinations and his heartworm prevention. He does well with kids, dogs, and cats. He will make a great addition to any family. Crooker's Critters is operated by myself, Jennifer Crooker and my younger sister Courtney Crooker. I do not have a separate facility, all pets are housed at my home until their forever home is found. All animals are up to date on shots, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and socialized (if need be) before they are up for adoption.
Here at Crooker's Critters we require an application be filled out for any animal. After you recieve your application please fill it out and return it to us either by email or by fax. We will then review the application and contact you in a timely manner. Each visit is by appointment only.When coming to your appointment you will be united with your furry friend and also will go over our contract to finalize the adoption process.
