We are a group of volunteers who strive to make our community a better place for animals. Every animal in our care has been rescued from an abuse or neglect situation.
Adoption Information
The adoption donations for all dogs over 6 months of age is $165.00. This helps to defray the cost of veterinary expenses and housing expenses while in our care. All dogs have been tested for parvo and heartworm, and are on prevention. All dogs are also spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We are proud to announce our Pound Rescue Program!!
This was developed in an effort to reduce the amount of unnecessary euthanasia in our county. The Tuscarawas County Humane Society will be rescuing as many pound dogs from death row as possible, providing all medical needs, and adopting them into loving forever homes.
We are also taking sponsors for our rescue program. For a donation of $25.00 it would defray the cost of food, heartworm medicine, and flea medicine for one month. For a donation of $50.00 we can have a vet check-up including heartwrm testing, parvo testing and office visit. For a donation of $100.00 we can get any dog (male or female) altered.
