Our Featured Pet...

Vivian

Vivian is a yearling husky-hound-GSD mix with a gorgeous white and pale copper coat and soulful brown eyes. She's sweet, affectionate, playful, and very puppyish. She loves to be silly and is a total class clown. She has a bum back leg from an old accident, but she gets around so well you'd rarely notice it. She knows some commands: Sit, Stay, Come, Leave It, Leave Kitty, Go Ride, Off, Kennel Up. She plays well with other dogs her size or larger, loves to ride in cars with you, and absolutely begs to go on walks. Check out her page for more info! All HHRRT dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, put on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption; they are also housetrained, leash trained, crate trained, and taught basic obedience commands.

Who We Are

Husky Havoc Rescue, Referral & Transport is a nonprofit organization near Cleveland, Ohio that is dedicated to helping Northern Breed dogs find loving forever homes. Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, and others are pulled from high kill-rate shelters and taken into foster homes until adopted. We also rescue and transport wolfdogs (a.k.a. "wolf hybrids").

How You Can Help

It's a Sibe Thing...You Wouldn't Understand by Raven Delaval

This fully illustrated 180 page book by HHRRT co-founder Raven Delaval is a lighthearted look at life with Siberian Huskies. Humorous yet educational, this book shows what really happens to your world when a Siberian Husky comes in and turns it on its head. Chapters cover everything from explaining the difference between a husky, a malamute, and a wolf, to what to expect when you bring in a second husky, and more. Includes an illustrated list of "your dog might be a Siberian Husky if..." traits compiled by the members of the online community Sibernet-L. Also includes a list of husky rescues in North America. Proceeds from the sale of the book go directly back into the rescue efforts. Check out our website for ordering info, and read a sample chapter! It's a Sibe Thing
