Please care enough to donate. We need your help to remain open. If you are not in a position to take on another pet, remember there are other ways you can help. A cash donation of $20.00 provides food, medication, and care for a puppy or kitten for one week. A $30. donation vaccinates a litter of puppies or kittens. A $50. donation provides emergency veterinarian care for an ill or injured animal. A $100. donation will spay or neuter four animals. A $500. donation will help us expand or repair the shelter so that we may continue housing the many homeless animals that come through our doors. Your help is needed and appreciated.
Who We Are
The Marion Area Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and alleviation to all animals suffering. We receive no funding from the county or any other larger non-profit organizations. We depend on your support to remain open. Please help us help our animal friends. I'm sorry, but we are limited, we can not ship
animals.
Adopting a friend
Please remember "Until there are none, adopt one". We are a small shelter, we can only hold 40 dogs and 40 cats at one time. Please help us, help them!!!!!!
Our adoption fees are $125.00 for dogs and $70.00 for cats. This includes the spay/neuter surgery, first vaccinations, worming, flea preventative, and a heartworm test for dogs over 6 months or a feline leukemia test for cats.
