Our mission is to improve the quality of life of animals and animal caretakers in Knox County OH.
The Knox County Humane Society provides for the rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and care of stray, unwanted, or lost cats and dogs.
We are independent of the Knox County Government Animal Control Agency, yet we still work in cooperation with that agency as well as the local vets. The Society supports itself largely through its own fundraising efforts, animal surrender and adoption fees, the generosity of the local community and people like you.
