Our Featured Pet...
Raincloud is a 1-3 year-old Siamese male. He was on the streets for a while but seems really happy to be settled into his home here at AAR. He is a very big, muscular guy, and would probably be happy to be an indoor/outdoor cat. He gets along well with other cats, especially kittens.
Who We Are
Austen Animal Rescue is a small rescue located in Amesville, Ohio. We take in homeless cats, kittens, and occassionally dogs and puppies. Most of the adoptable animals are housed in Amesville, but a few are at various foster homes and locations around Athens County.
Our adoption policy for cats includes an interview to make sure that we place our cats in the right home, a review of vet records and future pet care and a 60$ donation. This helps to cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery, leukemia testing, vaccinations and parasite control. We will always take our cats back if things do not work out.
