FEATURE DOG!

Tobias

With Tobias, be ready to be on the move! He is active and ready to go. Tobias is a 2 year old Mountain Cur Mix and weights about 42 pounds. He is happy to play and go for walks. He would make a great walking or running buddy. He is a sweet dog who looks like he always smiling. Maybe he knows a secret we don't. Or maybe he just wants everyone to know how happy he is because he knows his forever family will be coming in soon to take him home with them.

The staff here at TAHS doesn't know why Tobias is still here because he is such a great dog. He has been here about two months now. Stop in soon and maybe he can be your new best friend. He'll be waiting with a smile for ya...

Tobias is neutered, up to date with shots and has been microchipped in case he gets lost.

FEATURE CAT!

Misty

This cute little boy is named Misty who is a grey and white kitty who is around 2 years old. He presently lives in our Cat Room with the tv set and catwalk above your head. Misty loves just hanging out with his friends, but he would love even more if he could find a new family. We cut his nails and he didn't even put up a fuss. He is a very laid back little boy whom you will fall in love with. Maybe you could come in and consider giving him a new home. He has been neutered, is up to date on all his shots and has been microchipped in case he ever gets lost. Come on in. He'll be waiting...

Misty is up-to-date with routine shots and spayed/neutered.

Who We Are

The Toledo Area Humane Society, a private, non-profit organization, is the third oldest Humane Society in the U.S., founded in 1884 in order to be a "voice for the voiceless". Our mission is to provide community leadership focused on relieving the suffering of, preventing cruelty to, and providing for the humane treatment of animals. Our goal is to create an educated and caring community free of animal neglect and cruelty, and to prevent the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals.

Toledo Area Humane Society places thousands of animals in loving, permanent homes each year. All animals receive a health exam, a micro-chip, vaccinations, testing for feline leukemia or heartworm, are wormed, spayed, or neutered and are temperament tested. Our adoption counselors are trained to help find the companion animal best suited to the personality and lifestyle of each potential adopter.
