All Dogs are free to approved rescues through Friends of Fido. Please visit the Friends of Fido website
to sponsor a dog. Go to the website and click on the Donate Button. All Donations are Tax Deductible.
$25 will pay for a pull fee for a dog at MCDP.
$150 pays for a rescue to receive a dog fully vetted including Heartworm Testing and a Bordetella Vaccine.

Come out and look at all the wonderful dogs at the MCDP. There are many dogs to see depending on what breed of dog you are looking for. *All ages, weights and breeds of the dogs brought in to the pound are only a guess since they are strays coming off the streets of the Mahoning Valley. All strays are held for 72 hours before they are allowed to put up for adoption. Any information of temperament on the dog is only a observation.
Adopting a Friend
The adoption fee for adopting your new family member IS $50 at the pound which includes a dose of Strongid, DeWormer, DHLPP Vaccine, and a Dog License. There will also be an $80 at the vets which includes a spay or neuter and a Rabies Vaccination. The adoption fee at the end will be $130.
