The Holmes County Dog Warden's Department is a county run facility that picks up stray dogs and accepts owner surrenders (when there is space available in our kennel). We are a very small kennel which can only house a small number of dogs and, unfortunately, have to result to euthanization due to lack of space. Dogs that are found as strays legally have to be kept for 72 hours before they can be adopted or can be euthanized.

Donate a BedWe use Patented Kuranda Dog Beds because they are durable, chew proof and easy to clean. If you would like to donate a bed to us, click here.
