Meet Holly! This beautiful girl was recently rescued from a local shelter and just loves everyone and everything. She gets along with other dogs, loves cats, and adores children. We are estimating her age to be about 4 years old. She is extremely well-mannered and knows some commands too! Unfortunately for Holly, she was recently diagnosed as heartworm positive and immediately began treatment. Heartworm disease is caused by a mosquito bite -- very preventable with use of a proper preventive purchased from a vet. Preventive inhibits the growth of resulting worms or their eggs in the dog's heart. This is a deadly disease and requires very painful and expensive treatment. We are in need of approximately $500 to help pay for Hollyâ??s heartworm treatment. Holly would also love a home for the holidays, even if only a foster home. Leroy is a friendly, sweet senior gentleman who was rescued almost THREE YEARS AGO from a rural shelter. This Christmas, he would love a foster or forever home where he can spend the rest of his days in comfort.  He loves walks & is very good on a leash!! He is very affectionate & loves to cuddle - He would be a great companion for a senior person!!! He is VERY good with kids - just loves them!!!
