Who We Are: The Clermont County Humane Society (CCHS) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization founded in 1957 which operates the Clermont County Animal Shelter. CCHS exist for the purpose of fostering the adoption of unwanted animals while enforcing the humane treatment of all animals. The vision of the CCHS is to be recognized in the community as the adoption center of choice and the primary network resource of animal information.
Adopting a Friend: Our $110.00 adoption fee for Dogs and Puppies includes: Heart Worm test if applicable, Vaccinations, Worming, Fecal Check, Free Health Exam, Spay or Neuter, and a Current Dog License. Our $60.00 adoption fee for Cats and Kittens includes: Feline Leukemia Test, Vaccinations, Worming, Fecal Check, Free Health Exam, Spay or Neuter.
Come Visit Us: We are east of Cincinnati located off of State Route 222 on Filager Road in Batavia, Ohio. Directions are east of I- 275 to State Route 32 towards Batavia. Follow 32 East to the Owensville State Route 222 exit. Take a right off the exit onto State Route 222, follow State Route 222 9/10 of a mile and Filager Road is on the right. The animal shelter is the 4th driveway on the right. We are open to the public for adoptions from 11:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Monday - Saturday, Wednesday 2:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M., closed on Sundays and most holidays.
