PET Rescue
DUE TO being in College we are TEMPORARILY unable to take in pets at this time. I hope to be in a house next April where I can continue my rescue efforts full force.
We currently do courtesy postings for owners unable to keep their pets. If you have a pet in need of a home we will list them here for you to help them find it. You MUST keep me updated or the pet will be removed after 2 weeks. Any pets in our pet list please be sure to contact the person listed on their page. Thank you!
Our website is current, and all animals listed are adoptable unless otherwise noted on their page. Our adoption application can be found in our pet list and at the bottom of each pet's page. Please copy and paste it into an email with your inquiry, and answer all questions. thanks!

This website is dedicated to the rescue of all things with fur, fins, feathers, or scales, with a goal to finding them new forever homes. Pet Reruns is a privately run and no-kill pet rescue. We happily provide Pet care, training and health information, and adoption opportunities. We welcome the opportunity to visit pet supply stores and other venues to help educate people about the Pets and proper care. Pet Reruns Rescue takes in unwanted, abandoned, and sometimes abused pets from humane agencies as well as private owners. Our rescue operates on my own income and the few donations we may receive.

We were told when applying that we do not make enough money and have enough expenses to be granted 501c3 status. I had never realized there was any limitation.
The following companies have generously provided donations to our Rescue in the past, and because we use their products we recommend them to all pet owners!: Wodent Wheels- Safe small pet exercise wheels-our rescue sells these as a fundraiser! We make and sell hammocks and other bedding, welcome signs, sculptures, and other pet art, memorial boxes to hold mementos or the cremains of beloved pets who have passed, Wodent Wheels-the most critter-safe exercise wheel around, and toys. PET (Pets Experiencing Transition) Reruns is a rescue and educational organization, which offers any support we can to owners of fancy pet rats. We offer public and classroom pet awareness and educational demonstrations. We offer information on pet care, behavior, training, and rescue organizations. When we have room for more rescues, we rehabilitate when necessary, and put our pets up for adoption after quarantine against illnesses. We are located in Hamilton, Ohio. We raise money with various fund-raisers, and those funds are used to pay for the medical care, feeding, bedding, housing, and other expenses that are incurred with rescuing pets. Euthanization is something that only occurs when there was no other medical option and/or no quality of life. All our pets are given every chance for a new life with a new family. f you are too far away, or we don't have the critter that fits with your family, there are always other rescue programs here on Petfinder with critters in need of a home!
Adopting a friend
*Visits with our pets and adoptions are by appointment only. Please call or email the person they are with if you would like to adopt now, or be put on our waiting list for good homes.
We have a contract that states clearly our expectations of potential adopters, and an application that helps match you with the right pet for your family. IF FOR ANY REASON you are unable to keep a pet you have adopted from us, you MUST return that pet to our rescue. We don't want our pets to slip through the cracks, and will carefully screen their new owners.
Surrendering your pet
Owners surrendering their pets must sign a form that gives our Rescue legal custody of the animal , and that gives us access to their vet records. We ask for the cage/crate and all supplies with it, so your pet's home is familiar to it/them, and when possible we ask for a $25 surrender fee to help cover the veterinary exam and other expenses involved in caring for your pet(s) until such time as they are adopted.. This donation is only a request, not a requirement. Monetary donations to smaller pet rescues is uncommon, so all contributions are greatly appreciated!

Introductions to your pets must occur in your own home. Introductions cannot take place here for health reasons. Many pet illnesses are airborn and we must protect our residents from possible exposure. Please do not handle any other pets prior to (on the day of) your visit to our home. Thank you for understanding.
Are you a teacher who would like us to come to your class for a pet awareness day or other animal related event? We are happy to attend and bring animals to show and teach with. Please email or call for more information on our education programs!
