Who We Are
The Humane Society of Jackson, Ohio, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization with 501(c) 3 status; we are organized entirely by volunteers from the community. We have no paid staff and receive no government funds...we exist solely on donations and grants.The mission of HSJC is to reduce overpopulation, end animal suffering and educate our community on responsible pet ownership.

If you are interested in adopting a pet, please e-mail us at jchumanesociety1@yahoo.com or call and leave us a message at (740) 286-6435. Dogs and cats are sterilized and receive first shots and rabies. We provide reduced cost sterilization and vaccinations through local veterinarians.
- Dogs (any size) and cats $100.00
- This includes spay/neuter, 1st shots and heart worm/ feline leukemia tested
