In Loving Memory of Gidget, Sydney,Annie, Nuggett,
and Zeke
A brother of one of our volunteers was badly injured yesterday in a grease fire in his apt. He has 3rd degree burns from his elbow to fingers on his right side and 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his left leg and smaller burns on both legs. He is scheduled to have a skin graft performed at around 11:30 this morning. Please keep him in your prayers. He is in a lot of pain.
His face and other vital areas were not injured, but the Burn team said he has the worst burns possible. He made sure to get all the residents out of his unit before he even realized how badly he was hurt. Unfortunately, he didn’t have renter’s insurance and will have to pay for all the damages. We need foster homes in Ohio! If you have lots of love and love toy breed dogs, please
Email: for a foster application!!!! . Thank you!
Ohio Toy Breed Rescue is a Christian rescue group dedicated to saving toy breed dogs from puppy mills, kill shelters and from owners who are no longer able to keep their dogs. We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. Each dog is placed in a foster home where he or she will receive lots of love and attention, training, and necessary vet care.We do not have a "shelter," all dogs are in our homes and loved as our own dogs until we find them a furever home.
Our dogs are examined by our veterinarian and receive any treatment recommended by our veterinarian. Adult dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm treatment and /or preventative, socialized and evaluated for temperament. Puppies that are too small, will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract and must be spayed or neutered before the adoption is final. We try to find the perfect family match for each dog. and family--we want both the dog and the family to be happy.
We like to meet with all potential adoptive families and do not ship our dogs . Adopters must be willing to meet with one of our volunteers here in Ohio. We have an adoption application process and guidelines for adoption. An application must be completed , reviewed, and approved before we contact you regarding a dog. We follow our veterinarian's recommendations on health care as well as other issues.
