The Humane Society of Madison County operates the Madison County Animal Shelter. We are a very small shelter. However, the HSMC works closely with Madison County Correctional Institute in a foster care/training program. This is where inmates foster our dogs and teach them basic commands and housebreak them. The HSMC works hard in trying to place all adopted animals. So please consider adopting a homeless animal today.
