Who We Are

Sugar Bear Dog and Cat Rescue; a local non-profit companion animal rescue organization is in desperate need of supplies and foster homes. The rescue is a no-kill rescue, and sanctuary to some unadoptable dogs with special needs which are permanent residents of the rescue.

Please save a pet with your tax-exempt donations or contributions. We are also collecting aluminum cans/ scrap. You can drop off your cans at the adoption dates. For more information or to schedule a pick up of donations please call Kitty or George at 937-587-5454.

News

We have been doing everything possible to save, feed, house, treat and spay/neuter homeless dogs and cats. Unfortunately, donations have been slim and dozens of companion animals' lives are on the line. Please help support our animal rescue efforts in Adams County. Badly needed items are:

• All types of dog and cat food
• Dog houses (well built)
• Foster homes
• Volunteers for PetsMart adoptions
• Volunteers to help with fundraising ideas and events
• Dog kennels, dog crates and carriers
• Cedar shavings, blanket and rugs for bedding
• Used towels for bathing
• Feeding bowls and pans
• Dog collars (small to medium) and leashes
• Veterinary services (shots, flea treatments, spay and neutering, etc.)
• Pet food coupons
• Gift cards and vouchers
• Bleach and newspaper for cages
• Tarps of all sizes
• Chain link fence sections & kennels

Adopting a friend:

Call Kitty at 937-587-5454 to setup an appointment to meet the pets you are interested in. The rescue will bring these pets to meet you at PetsMart on our adoption days.
