Our Featured Pet: Alvin

Meet Alvin, a sweet, loving and energetic young dobe. He is 1 1/2-2yrs old. He is blk/rust with natural ears that stand up straight all the time! They are amazing and sooo cute!! We are working on his house manners and he is doing well with his potty training. Alvin loves everyone he sees and is such a happy dog. He is also crate trained and is happy to be in it as long as his has a bone to chew on. Alvin has an issue with his spine due to a broken neck that was never fixed and has completely healed, that leaves him a bit compromised as far as his mobility, such as stairs, etc. this is not a fixable condition. What Alvin needs is a home without alot of steps, no young children that would jump on him or try to ride him like a horse and no other dogs that would body slam him or jump alll over him. He gets along get with the dogs he currently lives with as a foster. He loves to run and chase them and they run and chase him. They are not dogs that wrestle and jump all over top of him. He needs a home preferably as the only dog, but one laid back or older dog will work well. He is very excitable and the more energy that is generated around him the more excited he gets. So a sorta couch potato enviorment would be great for him. he learns things very quickly and trys so very hard to please his people. He will lay his head in your lap all day if you would let him!
