Our Featured Pets...

We are looking for the BEST forever families as we have wonderful pets for adoption. Most of our cats are fixed and many are even already declawed. These four adorable dogs are just a sample of the many animals that are currently available for adoption. We have many puppies available for adoption and many that will be available very soon. There are also many kittens and cats that need homes. You need to come visit them to get the full effect of the love these animals have to give. There are many loving pets waiting for adoption. Do you have a fenced yard? Are you looking for a forever companion? If so, your BEST FRIEND is waiting at ARF!


We have terrific pets at ARF! We hope and pray that you will give them wonderful homes. Great families that will love them, shelter them and feed them premium food. And always remember to spay/neuter your pets as there are too many pets, not enough homes. Lastly, take it from the Humane Society...2 kittens are always better than 1...just ask ARF about the reasons! If, for some reason, you cannot adopt, please consider a donation.     Who We Are

    The Animal Rescue Fund ( ARF) is an incorporated, voluntary,non-profit charitable organization, chartered in February 1980, under the laws of the state of Ohio. ARF has an adoption program, providing care for stray dogs and cats, placing them in new homes. People also call us when they are no longer able to keep thier pets and must relocate them in a new home. We call our shelter "The Farm", a haven for the homeless located on 17 acres in Amelia. We are in constant need of expansion, upkeep and care for our dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. The Farm is also home for horses, goats, llamas, deer, chickens, and ducks. Our operation has full time staff members and volunteers and is modernized to help insure the health, safety, and happiness of all our animals. In addition, ARF actively participates in community outreach and events with the intent to educate the public about the homeless animal epidemic locally and nationally and the solution of spaying and neutering pets. We are also here to provide help and support to foster families in addition to emergency situations.

    PUREBREED OR DESIGNER DOGS: $150 & UP - MIXED BREEDS: $125 - MIXED BREED PUPPIES (UNDER 4 MONTHS): $75 - CATS OR KITTENS: $65 -
