Adoption Guidelines
Please note, these guidelines are non-negotiable.
1. Adoption Fees are FIXED. They are not negotiable. Running the rescue costs us double (or more) of what we charge. Most private rescues are over $200, and we will do everything we can to keep our fees what they are, $140 - $155.
2. Pets must be indoor pets. They are not to be tied up outside on a chain. They are not to be outside guard dogs. They are to be family members. Of course, for those with a fenced yard, we are ok with outside time during the day. We want these pets to become part of the family.
3. Pets MUST be spayed or neutered. If you adopt on a contract, you MUST bring the pet back to us for his/her appointment, or have it done by your vet within 30 days of adoption. Spay/neuter is included in adoption fee.
4. Pets must be given appropriate preventative medical care, and emergency medical treatment as necessary. If funds become an issue in the future, please contact us and we can try and find resources or low cost vets to help you.
5. We can in no way guarantee the health of the dog, the breed of the dog, or the parentage of the dog. We do everything in our power to ensure a health dog/pup while in our care. Please remember, 99% of our dogs are pound rescues, so we have no idea of their history. Breeds listed are those determined by dog wardens, veterinarians, and ourselves. All dogs and pups receive vaccinations, wormings, flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative while in our care.
Thank you for your understanding. A lot goes into running a non profit animal rescue organization, and we want everyone to be aware of our terms/guidelines before coming out to meet a dog/pup!
FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! We have a few dogs we would love to see get into a foster home- Jethro, Koko and Jack (all housetrained) and our newest arrivals!
Consider making a donation if it is within your means! It is very costly to pull, transport, vet and house dogs and every little bit helps us out!

News
We are looking for corporations or organizations to host a food drive. We supply flyers and a collection box. Currently, we go through over 200 pounds of food a week, not counting special diets, canned food and treats! Help us help the dogs in need!!ADOPTIONS: Female Dogs: $155 Male Dogs $140 Cats and Kittens: $25
Volunteers Needed!: We need a few more volunteers to add to our roster! This helps ensure that all dogs get plenty of exercise, love and attention and care. Even if you can only spare an hour a week to help walk, bathe, and play with, we could use you. Foster homes are also needed! We cover all medical expenses and can help with cost of food also. Who We Are
We are a Non Profit Organization located in Freedom Township, Ohio. With the help of the community and volunteers, we rescue puppies, pregnant dogs, and large breed adults as we have room from county shelters. We do not euthanize, we will keep the animal as long as necessary.MANY PEOPLE ARE UNDER THE ASSUMPTION WE RECEIVE GOVERNMENT AID BECAUSE WE ARE 501 (C) (3)- THIS IS NOT THE CASE. WE RUN SOLELY ON DONATIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND ADOPTION FEES. PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING OUT WHENEVER YOU CAN WITH DONATIONS, MONETARY, OR SUPPLIES. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
All our dogs are brought current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, temperment tested and given any medical attention necessary while in our care. Owner surrendor program: please inquire!
