Humane Society of Allen County
The Humane Society of Allen County is a no kill shelter serving all of Allen County, Ohio. We care for dogs and cats, as well as some smaller domestic animals. We are dedicated to the elimination of cruelty, abuse, neglect and abandonment of animals. The society will shelter animals in the times of need, locate lifelong homes and promote responsible pet ownership through education, legislation and sterilization.

Adoption Fees:
Puppies & small dogs---$90.00,
Adult dogs---$60.00,
Senior Dogs---$40.00.
Kittens---$50.00,
Adult Cats---$40.00,
Senior Cats---$20.00.
If you live in Ohio, you must purchase an Allen County Dog License for all dog adoptions. The fee is $16.00. This license tag is good throughout all of Ohio.
Adoption fee includes: General wormer, 1st vaccinations,
Feline leukemia and AIDS tests for cats,
Heart worm test for dogs over
6 months, their spay or neuter, and a
4 pound bag of Science Diet food.
