Monroe County has a real problem with its feline population. It is out of control. Daily we receive calls from individuals wanting us to take in stray cats. Unfortunately their aren't enough homes, foster or permanent and these poor creatures suffer because of it. We strongly encourage people to spay/neuter all pets. Also, please call your county commissioners to voice your opinion about this problem.
VOLUNTEERING AND DONATIONS
We would love to have you volunteer. Whatever you feel comfortable doing. We always have things to be done. If you enjoy the animals and just want to brush, and love them, they will be happy to oblige.
Material and monetary donations are always welcome and much needed. Do you save pennies and spare change? Donage your jar of coins to us and we will arrange pickup if needed.
We are enrolled in the Dad's Have A Heart Program. So please send us your Dad's Proof of purchases. Each one helps us to feed & care for a homeless animal. We also need your empty printer ink cartridges and old cell phones as we are enrolled in a program that gives cash for critters when we send in empty ink cartridges and cell phones for recycle.
