Our Pet List

Who We Are

We provide animal related services to the residents of Euclid. Our commitment is to provide superior service ranging from picking up strays to helping pet owners correct pet behavior problems. Strays and owner surrendered pets (accepted on a case by case basis for Euclid residents only) are housed and cared for at the Euclid Shelter while waiting to find qualified homes.

Mission Statement

Through the combined efforts of the Animal Control Division , Animal Shelter, and Euclid Pet Pals, to protect and foster an environment of respect to all citizens of the City of Euclid and animals under the care of the Euclid Animal Shelter.

The specific goals are:

To protect the animal and human citizens by enforcement of animal related ordinances.
To provide for the well-being of the injured, abused, unwanted and abandoned animals in our care and aid in the alleviation of distress and suffering in all animals.
To increase the adoption of homeless animals into humane environments.

Adopting A Friend

The adoption fee for cats is $70; dog $80. This fee includes:

Spay/neuter
First vaccination (rabies not included)
Deworming
Bath/flea dip (if necessary)

$10 discount for Seniors; $10 discount on animals that are already spayed/neutered.

Euclid Pet Pals

Consider becoming a member of Euclid Pet Pals. With budget cuts within the city, we needed an alternative income source to provide care for the animals at the Euclid Animal Shelter, so Euclid Pet Pals was formed. 100% of the money we collect goes to the Animal Shelter. Individual memberships are only $20 per year, and business memberships with various levels of membership are also available. Pet Pals Membership information.

We are also looking for volunteers to help at the shelter and with fundraising. This is a great opportunity for anyone that LOVES ANIMALS and has a little time to spare. Volunteer Information.

We are located at 25100 Lakeland Boulevard in Euclid, Ohio. The shelter is on the south side of the shoreway, between Babbit Road and East 260th Street.

Tuesday 12:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wednesday 12:00 am - 4:00 pm
Thursday 12:00 am - 4:00 pm and 6 - 8 pm
Friday 12:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturday 12:00 am - 4:00 pm

Closed on Sunday, Monday, and Holidays
