Fayette County Humane Society

Our Pet List

News

The Fayette County Humane Society is a small, mostly volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of the domestic animals in Fayette County, Ohio. We employ 3 Humane Agents to enforce the humane laws of the state of Ohio and we administer spay/neuter, trap, neuter, return and education programs. You will see some of the animals in our adoption program on these pages. These animals live in foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. Because they are in foster homes, they are socialized prior to adoption and we can usually tell you if they get along well with children, cats, and other dogs. Our pets are all health checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas and spayed or neutered. We always need assistance in caring for the animals that come to us. If you can help with donations, animal care items, or as a foster parent, you will help us to help more animals. Contact our office for more information (740-335-8126) or check us out at our new web page at faycohumane.com. We now have a "Shyanne's Fund" to help animals with medical needs. We use this fund to helps us assist dogs in our program who test positive for heartworm, parvo, or who have broken bones or other extensive medical needs. If you would like to donate to this fund, please send donation to our office at Fayette Co. Humane Society, 153 S. Main St. Suite 3, Washington C.H., OH 43160 or you can donate on our web page at faycohumane.com We hope you will find your new best friend on our adoption pages. To find out about any of our animals at PetSmart in Grove City, please call our adoption director @ 740-335-8126 or send an email at the address below. The Adoption Director will contact you.
