We are a Labrador Retriever Rescue which rescues Labs and some Lab mixes. Our Labs come from owner give ups, strays, from shelters and special needs cases. We have taken abused, heartworm positive, orthapedic, starvation and neglect cases. We strive to rehabilitate, socialize, crate/house train, and complete all veterinary care for all dogs to get them ready for their new home. We do not believe in "selling" dogs. We adopt to those with pre-approved applications only, U.S. Customs and police departments. Our adoption fee is to cover veterinary services, and to feed and care for daily needs of all of the Labradors in our care. Veterinary care is provided by Eastgate Animal Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Some dogs are kenneled at the facility and others are fostered in private volunteer homes. We have a 100% success rate in our Labrador adoptions. Visit our website @ www.rescuealab.com
Adopting a friend
The adoption fee for adults is $300 and $375 for puppies under 1 year. Fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm and fecal testing, all vaccines {DA2pp/Rabies/Bordatella), current on heartworm and flea prevention and implanted with a HomeAgain Microchip. An application is required to adopt one of our Labradors. Upon approval, a Labrador can be adopted through our rescue.
