NANCY REAGAN

Poor Nancy Reagan has been here longer than any other dog at the pound, and why you may ask. Maybe because she is young, full of spunk, loves to run, and jumps up on people occassionaly. But she is also very loving, friendly, and she's playful. Nancy was moved to a large pen to give her more room, but has since been moved back to a medium cage, because of the need for large pens. She is a young dog, and can be taught what is expected of her. Give this deserving dog a chance, please. She wants a family of her own too! Picked up as a stray on 4/17... .

Volunteer Organization - Supported by Donations

Friends of the Pound is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working in cooperation with the Stark County dog warden's staff. Our goal is to significantly enhance the quality of life for the homeless puppies, and dogs and increase their opportunities for placement through adoptions or rescue groups.

We have created a website for those interested in adopting, rescuing, and/or sponsoring dogs at the pound. Volunteers, donations, wish list items are always welcomed and needed. We've been trying so hard to keep up with repairing our homemade beds to no avail. Please help the dogs at the pound by genereously donating a Kuranda Dog Bed! With the winter coming we are hoping to have enough Kuranda Dog Bed to make sure the dogs do not have to sleep on the cold cement floors.
