Volunteer Organization ♥ Supported by Donations

Friends of the Pound is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working in cooperation with the Stark County dog warden's staff. Our goal is to significantly enhance the quality of life for the homeless puppies, and dogs and increase their opportunities for placement through adoptions or rescue groups.

We have created a website for those interested in adopting, rescuing, and/or sponsoring dogs at the pound. Volunteers, donations, wish list items are always welcomed and needed.
