The Humane Society of Richland County is a nonprofit charitable organization. Our mission is to provide safe and humane treatment for all the animals of Richland County.
Adoption Policy
Adopting a pet though us is a pretty rewarding and an easy process!
Once you find the pet that you have been looking for, then you fill out an adoption application (either online on our website, www.adoptourstrays.com, or in person here at the shelter). Â Once an application is approved, we then send the pet home. Â If the pet still needs to be fixed, we set up an appointment with you to bring the animal back to our shelter for the surgery.

Dogs: $175.00
Puppies: $225.00
Cats: $50.00
Kittens: $75.00

Spay/Neuter
Appropriate Vaccinations
Deworming Treatment and Flea Preventative
FeLV and FIV Testing
Heartworm Testing
1 Year Rabies Vaccination
Medications if needed
