OUR PET LIST

Welcome to Rescue Me, Inc and our virtual home! All our pets are kept in foster homes so they get the daily interactions needed to be happy, healthy family members! Due to a couple bad experiences, we no longer do out of state adoptions. We prefer to do all adoptions within our local area.

Note to all other rescue links. Please DO NOT remove any of our pets from our site to post on your site. We DO NOT adopt out of state and prefer our local area only. Our pictures and information are our property and should not be cross posted to other sites without our written permission.

Most Sunday's between 12:30 - 4:30 pm.

Due to the high volume of families loosing their homes and being forced to give up their pets,
we are still accepting sponsors for those people who want to help but are unable to adopt.

We are in need of donations of dog food, cat food and cat littler. We are also low on paper towels and trash bags.
Any donations can be brought to PetsMart in Huber Heights during our adoption times.

FEATURED PET

Allie and Buddy were born Sept 1, 2005. They are in a situation where they need to find a new home, through no fault of their own. They are both VERY affectionate, loving cats. Allie has more of a princess personality while Buddy is very much a pet me and let me tag along with you sort of cat. It will take them a little time to adjust to a new home and will need a home with no dogs. Allie has been spayed, Buddy has been neutered and both have been front declawed. They were tested negative for Felv/FIV as kittens and are current on vaccines. We want these two siblings to go to a home together; therefore, we will offer a special adoption fee to the right home who takes both cats.

WHO WE ARE

Rescue Me, Inc. was founded by Belinda in 1972 as a cat rescue. Educated as a veterniary technician, rescuing animals came quite naturally to Belinda. At that time, she was one person aiding in the solution to cat overpopulation. Today, as a group of dedicated animal friends, we include several species of animals and set about the difficult task of finding good homes for good animals.

All new animals brought into our adoption program undergo a two-week quarantine period to verify health and receive needed veterinary care. During this time, their personalities are evaluated, and they then become available for adoption. All dogs are current on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on a monthly preventive. All cats are current on vaccinations and feline leukemia/feline aids negative. All of our pets are given Frontline(R) on a monthly basis as a flea/tick preventive. We have a philosophy of spaying and neutering with adoption.

We hope the future of Rescue Me, Inc. will include the construction of an indoor facility to better house and care for our pets in need. We already have the land for this building and are working to raise the needed funds to assist with construction. IF YOU ARE A BUILDER, CONTRACTOR, ELECTRICIAN, OR PLUMBER WILLING TO DONATE SUPPLIES AND/OR YOUR SERVICES, PLEASE E-MAIL US WITH YOUR INFORMATION!

ADOPTING A FRIEND

All potential adopters complete a pet profile form to aid us in helping choose a proper pet for their lifestyle and environment. All approved adopters must sign an adoption agreement promising to provide a permanent home for this pet. All pets must be microchipped and spayed or neutered at the appropriate age or within 30 days of adoption. To ensure proper placement, Rescue Me, Inc. follows up on each adoption. If for any reason the pet must be re-homed, the pet must be returned to Rescue Me, Inc.
