Who We Are

Buckeye Samoyed Rescue is affiliated with The Samoyed Rescue Alliance. Volunteers rescue dogs from all over Ohio. We have taken in dogs as young as "minus one week" (we rescued a mother Samoyed about to give birth) and we currently have one in rescue taken in at 11 years of age. Our dogs are fostered in our homes (in various areas of the state) where they can interact with people and in many cases, other animals. All are up to date on vaccinations and are spayed/neutered.

Adopting a friend

Anyone interested in one of our rescues is welcome to contact us via e-mail at sammyland@verizon.net. We will be happy to forward to you a standard adoption application which tells you a bit more about us and lets us know what you are looking for in a dog. After we receive the completed application, we will be pleased to answer any additional question. If we do not have a Sam that would fit into your family at the time of application, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you when such a dog does come into our program.

Come Visit Us!

Since our foster homes are located throughout the state, we have no central place for you to visit.
