Pixie Mamas Rescue (PMR) is a group of volunteer small breed dog lovers whose mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. We also assist dogs who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes. Whenever possible we aid in the rescue of other small breed dogs (under 15 pounds). We are located in Western New York. All PMR dogs are housed in foster homes where they are provided with an enormous amount of love and attention. They are all spayed or neutered and brought up-to-date on shots before being placed in their new homes. All dogs are evaluated for temperament and personality. This helps us to place them in homes that are well suited to their needs and to the needs of their future owners. We work closely with other rescue groups and animal shelters and may be able to assist you in finding your next furry friend.

Pixie Mamas does not have a shelter or kennel to visit - all of our dogs are living comfortably in private foster homes across the area! If you are interested in meet a particular dog, you must fill out an application and begin the adoption process.
